Description

  • Condition: New
  • Special feature: The tie down will allow you to both safely strap and unstrap your bike in a matter of seconds.
  • Material: All parts are steel except the turning block which is aircraft grade aluminum 6061-T6.
  • For safety We highly recommend using our big spool
  • NOT RECOMMENDED with PLASTIC SPOOLS or 6mm Bolted Spools
  • STRAPLESS TIE DOWNS: A patented T-Rex strapless restraint system. The tie down will allow you to both safely strap and unstrap your bike in a matter of seconds. This set up does not compress your expensive shocks or suspension system. Whereas other tie downs compress your shocks and cause damage to your suspension's internal components during a long ride. Keep in mind you will still need a front wheel chock to keep the front end of the bike secure. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

5 of 5 Strapless Setup in My Trailer October 16, 2020
Reviewer: Larry Lulay from Oregon
I have two of these setup in my trailer and have used them with my R1, R6, and both of my R3s.  I have lots of photos and I did a trailer prep video where you can see these in action at http://www.ridesdoneright.com/sportbike/2018/trailer/

5 of 5 T-Rex Strapless Restraints are awesome! September 10, 2019
Reviewer: LeatherUp93 from Maryland, United States
They worked awesome and as advertised.
Very novel idea, heavy duty in design and when coupled with a Baxley style chock, very secure.
Notables: I found mounting them a few inches forward of the spools,  keeps forward pressure on the bike forcing tight into the chock. You WILL slider type spools or shoulderd aluminum spools for them to work best.  OEM will work in a pinch, but I wouldn't do that. Spend $40 and get a good set.  I would like to see T-Rex do is to put four of the 3" washers in the kit to cover the top mount point and not just two for the underside mounting points. It will better disperse pressure on the wooden slats. Do not be afraid to crank them down to remove as much tire flex as possible. they are designed to work this way. Do not over do it and break a spool. For the money, you cannot beat these. I am very pleased. Had quite a few at the track ask about them and they were impressed at the ease of loading and unloading!
Thanks for a great product!
