This purchase is for a set of case and pump covers for the models above. Made from UHMW-PE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength, wear resistance and dimensional stability. It is more dimensionally stable than Nylon and used in many industrial ball bearing and friction reducing applications. They can be inexpensively replaced in case of a low-side. The bolts are made of highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength). Rest assured that you are getting the best material and fully thought out product.

2 of 5 Right side engine guard does not mount flush September 3, 2024

Left side engine guard and water pump guard fit my GSX 8R fine and flush. Right side engine guard however will not mount flush to engine cover as there is too much material on the engine side of the guard and it hits the engine and prevents the guard from mounting up flush. I emailed T-Rex on 8/15 and no response as of 9/2. Emailed them again today about the issue and sent them pictures of the issue in my initial email. Not sure if the design is flawed or I received an out of spec part for the right side engine guard. 2 stars since 2 out of 3 pieces fit fine.

I purchased the case and pump covers for added protection for my 800DE.  I was planning a trip to complete the NorCal BDR, and wanted to add some additional protection.  The quality and protection these offer was above my expectations.  Highly recommend them and money well spent.
