5 of 5 Crash Bar Install November 3, 2024
Reviewer: Jim Pierce from Charleston, WV United States
The install on my 2024 KLR Adventure went pretty smoothly. I had to reverse the ABS bracket to accommodate fitment of the right frame mount. Although an extra step, I am well satisfied with the outcome.  Had to also grind a portion of the top edge of the OEM skid plate in order to reinstall. Other than that, my install was painless. The T-rex bars are a great add-on and very sturdy.

5 of 5 Great crash bars but with notes... September 12, 2024
Reviewer: Jason from Western Colorado
I bought these primarily because they fit with the factory adventure package options and overall I am very satisfied. Installation was a bit of a challenge but it's doable with basic tools and knowledge. As another review stated, these won't fit with the factory skid plate and they also won't fit with any skid plate that isn't completely flat across the front top area. T-Rex has a solution so just get their skid plate. It's compatible and looks great. The one drawback is that you will need to remove these to get the fairings off should you need to work under them. Overall, I higly recommend, especially to those who have the adventure model with the added light bar and lower crash bars.

5 of 5 Serious Crash Bars Here! August 24, 2024
Reviewer: Don from NH
High quality product. Perfect fit. Possible to install without help. Priced right. Looks great on this machine. Thank you T-Rex, you've done it again! Note: These arrived with two of the legs sticking out of the large box. The ends of the legs were wrapped in bubble wrap and then covered with a thick, heavy duty, plastic bag, taped on well. There was damage to the bags but no damage to the bars. Great packing job! Thanks again, my bike looks great and is well protected.

5 of 5 Perfect fit June 29, 2024
Reviewer: Joe Lewis from Bluff City, TN United States
The people at T-Rex really know what they’re doing when it comes to making these. They fit and finish is awesome. I didn’t have to do any type of modifying to the 2024 KLR ADVENTURE WITH ABS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

4 of 5 Nice engine guard but.... October 23, 2023
Reviewer: Yanhao from MA
I mean this is a really well made engine guard and very sturdy. I had it go on a tough trail ride and drop the bike for 5-6 times, there's nothing on the bike even a scratch. But I found that the latest arrived engine guard has the problem of huge gaps between the plastic slider and the fairing. I got it mount right, and gave it a right torque. I sent a video to T-rex and they said it is mount right, which means it's normal for yo have a gap.... But stuffs are very friendly, and I still recommended to buy this.

3 of 5 Needs some modifications September 20, 2023
Reviewer: Andy from Rocky Mountains Colorado
I purchased these for my 2023 KLR650 ADV w/ABS  because they are the only ones that I could keep my existing light bar and lower crash bars that I paid good money for when I bought the bike.
My big gripe is I had to notch the existing skid plate brackets at the top to accommodate the bars in order for the bolt holes to line up. Further modification was done to my stock skid plate to squeeze in behind the bars.
A little tip if you have a 2023 with OEM brake line bracket that they say remove and zip tie the lines. You can turn it upside down where it is below the bracket and mounting point but it’s tough to get the bolt(now facing the engine) back into place with the new bars installed. Just do it before you install the right side bars.
Overall it looks great and fits with my existing Adventure package.

5 of 5 Awesome Product and Service July 28, 2023
Reviewer: RichardS. from Montana
The Customer Service is second to none.  Ruben and Jackie are amazing folks who do amazing work.  The Cage fit and finish is excellent, welds look nice/complete and the overall build quality is excellent.  The Cage was very easy and quick to install (one beer max!).  I have an Enduro Engineering skid plate and cut the top half off to make it fit with this cage.  For reference,  my KLR is a 2023 base model

5 of 5 Very Satisfied April 24, 2023
Reviewer: Pete Morana from New York
I think these Bars are the best looking for the Adventure model very tough look.
Let me say i'm not the most confident mechanic mostly because i have no garage and have to work in the street so if I mess up i'm screwed. After reading and watching some install reviews I was a little worried. I had no serious problems installing these at all and my stock skid plate and stock lower guards where not an issue at all. Together with my T Rex Hand guards I really like the way my 2022 Adventure KLR650 looks. Keep up the great work T Rex!

The right rear side of the engine guard cannot be attached due to original equipment that is attached to the frame. The original equipment was unable to be moved. I have a photo but there doesn't seem to be any way to attach it here.
