Appears to be of excellent quality. Been using this for about 6 months and is holding well. Currently have mounted a moose racing expedition top case. The only draw back is that the included screws appear to be for if you had the luggage racks and grab tail. The included screws were too long and ended up scratching the metal tube inside. I added spacers to take up the slack.
