5 of 5 Excellent skid plate, saved me from disaster August 11, 2024

I purchased the skid plate for my Suzuki 800DE.  While riding the NorCal BDR I hit several rocks and while riding rocky whoops had a big hit on a larger rock.  Thank the moto-gods that I had this skid plate, otherwise the underside of the engine and exhaust would have been severely damaged.   The hit was big enough to snap a bolt on the sub-frame and the skid plate took the brunt of the force.  5+ stars, definitely worth it.

Note: I had the OEM Suzuki center stand, so I had to use a grinder fitted with a cutting wheel to remove 10 inches of from the back of the skid plate.  My first cut with about 7" which was too short.  T-Rex does disclose the skid plate would have to be modified with the OEM center stand.
