This is a set of frame sliders, rear axle sliders, exhaust sliders, engine case covers, spool adapters, and fender eliminator for the above bike model.
The sliders feature a new design of a complete solid puck without a hollowed-out center. This increases the strength and contact surface to about 30%. The bracket is bolted to the engine mount and the aluminum spacer is bolted to the bracket. The slider puck is then screwed onto the spacer. Since this spacer is made of solid billet aluminum there is no need for re-tightening the engine bolt in the long run where you have to do so with the plastic slider as the plastic would gradually give in and therefore making the bolt becoming loose. The brackets wrap around the frame preventing them from rotating in the event of a low side.
The fender eliminator is designed to keep out unwanted debris, dirt, mud, etc. This kit also allows the use of the stock signal lights.
Lifting the rear of the CB300R can be challenging because the swing arms have no threaded holes for spools and are at an angle. Without spools, the bike can be difficult to lift with a stand. Once lifted, it can be unstable. The angle on the swing arms makes it worse. It can cause the bike to slip off the stand and fall. T-Rex spool adapters are made to meet this challenge. They are designed to securely attach to the swing arms and allow safely lifting of the rear wheel using a paddock stand. The aluminum brackets are lined with UHMW-PE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength and wear resistance. This plastic keeps the aluminum brackets from scratching the swing arms.
The material of the pucks and covers are made of UHMW-PE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength, wear resistance, and dimensional stability. It is more dimensionally stable than Nylon and used in many industrial ball bearing and friction reducing applications. Compared to Delrin, it is softer but tougher. Delrin is harder but more brittle. It is an ideal material for frame sliders since it can absorb more impact force onto itself and therefore reduce the impact on the frame and engine. The slider pucks can be inexpensively replaced in case of a low-side.
We use the highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.
