This purchase is for a set of luggage guards for the above bike model. The guards feature skid plates that can be inexpensively replaced without purchasing a new set of steel guards. The steel tubing has two attachment points and braced together to prevent them from rotating in the event of a low side. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

This product is sturdy and designed to complement the original Honda CTX700  accessory side cases and will likely protect more than just the side cases in the event of a tip over or slow speed drop. I am pleased with my purchase.
Note: fitment with any other luggage is an open question and the you-tube install video depicts a CTX700 without o.e. luggage , therefore the R&R of the o.e. rear panels is slightly different.
