This purchase is for a pair of frame sliders, engine case covers, front & rear axle sliders, and spool adapters for the above bike model. The sliders feature a new design of a complete solid puck without a hollowed-out center. This increases the strength and contact surface to about 30%. The bracket is bolted to the engine mount and the slider puck is bolted onto it. The brackets have two attachment points preventing them from rotating in the event of a low side. The material of the puck is made of UHMW-PE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength, wear resistance and dimensional stability. It is more dimensionally stable than Nylon and used in many industrial ball bearing and friction reducing applications. Compared to Delrin, it is softer but tougher. Delrin is harder but more brittle. It is an ideal material for frame sliders since it can absorb more impact force onto itself and therefore reduce the impact on the frame and engine. The slider pucks can be inexpensively replaced in case of a low-side. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

5 of 5 Worth Every Penny April 29, 2020
Reviewer: Ryan from Portland, OR United States
I sought out a full protection kit for a few different reasons when I bought my (nearly) new 2017 FZ-07. I wanted to make sure, first and foremost, that my new bike would be protected in the event that it happened to hit the pavement. In addition, I had a set of T-Rex frame sliders on my last motorcycle, a 2006 Honda 599, that I liked (and luckily never "tested" out).
The customer service at T-Rex is also top-notch. I had a bit of an installation mishap (my bad) and they were quick to help me out - shout out to Ruben!

THIS PRODUCT WORKS. In Oregon we have rain, lots of it. Even while commuting a simple drizzle of rain can really put a damper on your day. I found that out firsthand and the bike went sliding across the road. Thanks to T-Rex's kit, the bike is essentially unharmed. I'm absolutely a customer for life, buying replacement pieces since I know they work when needed.

3 of 5 Great so far, EXCEPT!!! February 14, 2019

...Except I ordered almost $400 worth of parts directly from a company and asked for stickers in my order and did not get any.

Pros: These sliders came highly recommended to me from my mechanic as well as jakethegardensnake (hi Jake if you’re reading this) and you can really feel the quality when you handle/install these parts. They also look great.

Cons:
I think black screws would be nice since the OEM screws were black.

...and they won’t send you stickers if you ask for them.
