This purchase is for a pair of frame sliders, case covers, front axle sliders, and rear axle sliders for the FZ-09. The sliders feature a new design of a complete solid puck without a hollowed-out center. This increases the strength and contact surface to about 30%. The bracket is bolted to the engine mount and the slider puck is bolted onto it. The brackets have four attachment points preventing them from rotating in the event of a low side. The material of the puck is made of UHMW-PE (ultra high molecular weight polyethylene), a tough plastic with good strength, wear resistance and dimensional stability. It is more dimensionally stable than Nylon and used in many industrial ball bearing and friction reducing applications. Compared to Delrin, it is softer but tougher. Delrin is harder but more brittle. It is an ideal material for frame sliders since it can absorb more impact force onto itself and therefore reduce the impact on the frame and engine. The slider pucks can be inexpensively replaced in case of a low-side. The rear axle sliders provide indispensable protection for your beautiful expensive swing-arm. For the front and rear axle sliders the installation is a simple bolt on with the bar going through the axle and one plastic puck on each side. The long bar and inserts inside the sliders are made 6061-T6 aluminum for strength. We use highest grade commercially available 12.9(177,000 psi in tensile strength) wherever possible. Rest assured that you are getting the best material commercially available.

Could be great value if the quality were better. There are quality and design issues which are deal breakers for me.

The rear axle rod sheared when installing to specified torque. It had rust on the inside (found out after removing) and was also bent on the opposite end that broke.  The set screw on the rear axle puck didn't align when installed as well. The rod is too thin to carry the loads it sees.

The left case cover has clearance holes for the screws which are so big they cause the washers to cone. So I didn't even install the right hand side. I think they could be good if the design was refined a bit.

The frame sliders look good and installed well but again, due to the other issues, I decided to remove them. I have no confidence in the strength of materials used.

The front axle slider installed easy and seemed good overall.

I returned these and ended up with about 80% of my money since I "broke" parts and had to pay return shipping.
