This purchase is for an adjustable kickstand (spring included) for the KLR650. It can go from stock length to approximately 2" shorter. It is absolutely a must-have if you lowered your bike.

Spring broke and they don't just sell a replacement spring and no one has had the spring so your forced to by a new kickstand. Would not recommend this product.

1 of 5 KLR650 Kickstand Made incorrectly, Bad Springs March 14, 2022

Have same issues as the other people. The kickstand switch tab is about 1/4"-3/8" to low. I had to bend the tab up as far as I could without breaking and even then it barely catches. The springs are made out of inferior material, once they stretched out the never returned to original length. Another issue is the kickstand swings to far  forward enabling the pad to set flat, needs a  stop welded on the front side of the stand. I emailed customer service with photos and we'll see where this goes. They really need to refund me so I can get it fixed correctly and purchase the correct springs. These issues need to be corrected before any more are sold.

Bought the stand from T Rex off ebay, the post that the safety switch piece engages is welded too far down on the stand. Tried to contact T Rex through the Ebay link and their web site to send pics. Never got a response. I took a hammer and bent the post up as far as I could till I thought it would break off and it connected now buy just a fraction of an inch. It was that or have the post cut off and re welded .

Says on here that this fits the 2018 KLR 650. That's not true. The spring location stop is in a different location on this kickstand then on the original. Meaning you also need a different spring which was not included.
